PITCHING AND DEFENSE GO SOUTH. DODGERS FALL TO OHIO.

After getting off to great start in the tournament, the Dodgers went into a funk in the next 2 games. In game to against the Ohio Cheerokees, the Dodgers came out swinging in the 1st inning as Brian Goldberg and Ron Scrimenti picked up RBI's via hits. Dodger pitcher Shawn Walsh looked strong in the 1st; but, poor Dodger fielding , and execution enabled the Cherokee's to take the lead and never look back as they went on to defeat the Dodgers by a score of 11- 5. The Dodgers managed to collect 8 hits compared to the Cherokees 13. but, the difference was the flawless defense of the Cherokees as opposed to the 3 costly errors of the Dodgers.
